Oh No! Here’s the part where I admit to being involved in showing dogs for more than 45 years. Put the calculator down, I was only a baby when my Mum gave me my first dog, a Curly Coated Retriever. What an apprenticeship. I never won anything. A couple of years of training & practicing showing dogs meant that Mum allowed me to come up in the world & show some of our better dogs. In 1976 I won my first Best In Show with a Curly & the addiction set in for 10 years or so. Then I took a spell from showing  in the 80’s but came back in the 90s’s with a Boxer who went on to do a lot of winning & Whammy! the addiction was back.

It was through my time showing Boxers That I met my dear friend Nicole Harrison of “Valeska Boxers” & "Devine Whippets" in NZ. It was this friendship that was the beginning of around 10 yrs of showing & winning with the awesome  Boxers that Valeska would send me to Show. THAT’S when it happened! Nicole is also a Whippet Breeder and so it was, she sent me my most treasured gift. Aust Grand Ch. Devine That’s My Opinion or “Thatcher” to those that know & love him.
